Offset printing in gravure printing machines is one of the printing techniques. The actual printed image of the gravure printing press is characterized by the version and the paper being characterized by not being in direct contact. The ink attached to the board is a primary transfer (offset) to an intermediate transfer member such as a rubber blanket for printing on a printing material such as paper, which is called offset printing. Since most of the offset printing of gravure printing machines is carried out using photolithography (lithographic), it is now referred to as lithographic offset printing. For short it is often referred to as “offset” and “off”.
